"Should I choose the smoothest course, steady as the beating drum…My site was static for some time and when I returned to the net, I named my network of sites the Dream Giver Network. On February 9, 2010, I had just finished rewatching Card Captor Sakura and was in the magical girl mood. On a whim at the time, I bought Starry-Reflections.com because I had so many sites and domains, I had trouble keeping track of everything! Over time though, I've gotten sick of this domain. It's just not me, it's too cutesy and unoriginal.
That's when I decided it was time to evolve into something better, something cooler…
HostingThe Dream-Giver Network was unofficially started with my oldest domain, Phantom-Wolf.net. I opened that on August 21, 2006 with FrozenWebHost, a small independent company. While a lot of webmasters have horror stories with hosts, I couldn't have started out with a better experience. They set the bar high. I stayed with that company for an exact 5 years, leaving them on September 1, 2011. It was a really hard decision to make, and although I highly recommend them for superior customer service, a super nice, personable owner, and 0 downtime, they didn't offer me sufficient space.
On September 11, 2011, I moved over to HostGator. I can only hope their reputation precedes them and the experience I have is as great as the last 5 years. As for my domains, they are all registered through Namecheap, including my .NU. There is no better registrar.
