Well, in 2006, when I first bought, I never expected to have more than one domain. But of course, as time passed, the number started to grow and I started to separate personal domains from fandoms. Then, sometime in…2007 I think, I went through a really hard time in my personal life. When I got through it, I remembered thinking about this song from Disney's Pocahontas that goes,
"Should I choose the smoothest course,
steady as the beating drum…

Is all my dreaming at an end?
Or do you still wait for me, Dream Giver?"

My site was static for some time and when I returned to the net, I named my network of sites the Dream Giver Network. On February 9, 2010, I had just finished rewatching Card Captor Sakura and was in the magical girl mood. On a whim at the time, I bought because I had so many sites and domains, I had trouble keeping track of everything! Over time though, I've gotten sick of this domain. It's just not me, it's too cutesy and unoriginal.

That's when I decided it was time to evolve into something better, something cooler…

The Dream-Giver Network was unofficially started with my oldest domain, I opened that on August 21, 2006 with FrozenWebHost, a small independent company. While a lot of webmasters have horror stories with hosts, I couldn't have started out with a better experience. They set the bar high. I stayed with that company for an exact 5 years, leaving them on September 1, 2011. It was a really hard decision to make, and although I highly recommend them for superior customer service, a super nice, personable owner, and 0 downtime, they didn't offer me sufficient space.

On September 11, 2011, I moved over to HostGator. I can only hope their reputation precedes them and the experience I have is as great as the last 5 years. As for my domains, they are all registered through Namecheap, including my .NU. There is no better registrar.
